1. Purchase on approval of garments

In the Hans K. Schmitt GmbH & Co. KG online shop garments are bought on approval, that is there is a 14 day return period for clothing which does not fit or does not conform to your liking. The sales contract will therefore only become effective after the 14 day deadline for returning goods has expired. The buyer is responsible for the shipping and handling costs involved in returning the good(s). Goods returned with insufficient postage will be refused.

Models of heavy goods vehicles are excluded from this provision.

2. Delivery

Delivery is only possible within Germany. If however you would like to have a delivery made abroad we would strive to help further. The delivery charges would increase accordingly.

3. Return of garments

Without indicating any reasons you are entitled to return the clothing received within 14 days. The 14 day period begins from the moment the goods are received. The buyer is responsible for the shipping and handling costs involved in returning the good(s). Goods returned without postage or with insufficient postage will be refused.

In the case of a valid return, the mutually received benefits are to be returned and any benefit (from use of the good) must be reimbursed, where applicable. If there has been a deterioration in the condition of the good, compensation may be requested. This does not apply in the case where the deterioration of the good is solely due to the inspection of it. In all other respects, there shall be no obligation to pay compensation if you refrain from using the goods and desist from anything which would devalue their value.

4. Prices

The prices quoted in the online shop are inclusive of VAT.

5. Delivery costs

Regardless of order value, the delivery costs are 6.00 euro per order.

6. Payment

As a basic principle, all items must be paid for in full before delivery. We do not give a discount for cash.
