We are a medium-sized haulage company, whose beginnings go back to the year 1918. The business activities began in the small Westerwald area of Peterslahr with a bakery and then the coal trade shortly afterwards.

In 1939 Peter Schmitt founded the carriage company, the basis for the present company. Soon after he stepped aside for his eldest son, Hans K. Schmitt. Under his leadership the company evolved, along with the needs of our customers, to its present size.

Today the third-generation is represented by Peter Schmitt, a member of the management team, and in our premises in Oberhonnefeld, Schmölln and Denkendorf we employ approximately 200 well-trained employees in the divisions Logistics & Distribution, Building Materials & Waste Disposal and Truck service.
